the arènes de Nîmes
in Nîmes, one ancient monument spectacle can still be admired. This is the amphitheater, now called "the Arena", which is one of the best preserved of the Roman world. the Camisards were Huguenots peasants (Protestant) of the Cévennes region. This historic circus haunted by the echoes of a painful memory allows you to discover the Mialet Valley. An outdoor performance of "Night of camisards", directed by Lionel Astier is played during the months of July and August in Ales.
